As per your requirement, i would say that as per the details mentioned above, to get admission into medical college in assam, you must have the domicile of assam to apply through state quota and you can apply from other state only through aiq which has 15% reservation of seats.

Getting a seat in government medical college is depending on many factors like studenrs to seat ratio, cut off, reservation etc. As you have a specefic caste so you can avail uts reservation during the counseling process to get your seat. But its quite diffcult to get a seat with only 240 marks but still try out by participating in counseling. Normally you need to have 300+ marks for any reservation quota to be on a safer side of getting a seat in medical college.

You can even choose private medical college if you want to get admission in there.
