Hello Kirti,

Yes, there is a quota for CW category in Delhi University. As per the official site-

5% of the total number of seats in each of the course shall be reserved for Children / Widows / Wives of the Officers and Men of the Armed Forces including Paramilitary Forces, killed/disabled in action or attributable to duty or recipients of gallantry award. These seats shall be supernumerary. Candidates of the below-mentioned description are eligible to avail the reservation under the CW category.

• Widows / Wards of Defence personnel killed in action

• Wards of serving personnel and ex-servicemen disabled in action.

• Widows / Wards of Defence personnel who died in peacetime with death attributable to military service.

• Wards of Defence personnel disabled in peace time with disability attributable to military service.

• Wards of Ex-servicemen/personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards.

(Above categories are also applicable for Paramilitary personnel)

In order to become eligible for the above concessions, the Children/ Widows/ Wives of the officers and jawans, etc. will be required to submit the certificate of educational concessions (in original) from

• Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board

• Secretary, Rajya / Zila Sainik Board

• Officer-in-Charge, Record Office

• First-Class Stipendiary Magistrate

NOTE- The procedure of admission is different for CW category students-

(i) Report on scheduled time is given for your priority category at the venue mentioned. If you have all the necessary documents then they will give you a form in which you have to fill your details and choices for colleges and courses in priority order.

(ii) After that, you will an admission provisional slip addressed to the principal of college most probably from Administrative Block/Conference Hall with your name mentioned on it.

(iii) Once you get the admission provisional slip 80% of the process is complete. after getting provisional slip report to your allotted college with all the documents in original as well as one set of self-attested copy. but before going to college you should apply for the college/course on DU website student Dashboard. Take the print out of the same under the cutoff whose link is still active.

(iv) Once college approves your admission pay the fee immediately no need to delay the process to secure your admission.

This is a very rough idea about the procedure. So, it will be better that you read the UG information Bulletin(whenever it is released) to know the accurate details.

I hope this helps. If you have any other doubt or query, feel free to ask.

All the best!
