I belong to ews category...bt ews certificate is not available in delhi...what should i do?

Economical Weaker Section category has been made into effective by this year and there are many competitive exam aspirants who are facing issues while trying to retrieve the EWS certificate from their state authority. According to reports, many district Tehsildars are not issuing the certificates without any consolidate reason. I can understand your frustration. See the issue is everywhere when people are trying to get EWS certificate through Tehsildars. Since there is no online portal where you can apply for the EWS certificate so, it becomes a mammoth task to get things done within government periphery. I will suggest contacting Jan Seva Kendra(CSC) agent in your locality. Many candidate has been benefited through JSK agent. One of the advantages is that they provide a faster application process mechanism. Having an inside out knowledge with the system is an added advantage they have. So, I'm sure this will work.

Here is the list of documents you might need in case you're applying for EWS certificate.

• Aadhaar Card (mandatory)
• Income Certificate (mandatory)
• Pan Card (mandatory)
• Caste Certificate
• BPL Card
• Bank Statement
• Recent Passport size photo

Do make sure you've every mentioned document and latest self-attested copies for the each. Also, the agent will fill the EWS certificate form and take care of all formalities. The time duration from applying to receive the EWS certificate is somewhere around a month but it might take some extra time in case there are complexities in the application.
