i belong to general category and a local in karntaka , scoring 450 above , can i get private quota , md pulmonolgy seat?
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
Private Medical Colleges are divided into three categories. The Government Quota Seats are classified as Category A. Furthermore, only applicants from the candidate's native state are eligible to apply for these positions. In addition, B Category seats, also known as Management Quota seats, are filled through state counselling. The remaining seats are filled through direct admissions by contacting the college directly, provided that the candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been successful in gaining admission through that counselling. In this case, the costs are typically in the region of 40 lakhs. The last Category is for NRI seats, and you are not eligible to apply for them. If you are from the General Category, you may need at least 475 points to be considered for a place in a Private Medical College under the Government Quota. However, for Reserved Categories, a score of 450 is considered optimal. In addition, 450 is a respectable score on the Management Quota.
Hope that you got the answer to your question. Feel free to comment back incase of any doubts. All the Best!
