I belong to general category & don't have any regional reservation. What should be my minimum Neet score for admission to govt. colleges?

NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims, and jipmer. The exam pattern is as follows:-
physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks

and biology 90 questions each carrying 4 marks as well.hope this helps good luck
Cut off by All India quota is always higher than state quota..Further in both the quota the SEAT is further divided as per category like Open, SC , OBC , ST, etc..It will vary for each groupThe Cutoff also vary in Government, Private and Deemed UniversityAlso difffer college to college even in government /private/deeemedThe marks vary each year based on the difficulty level of the paper
BUT GOING BY PREVIOUS YEAR TREND FOR GENRAL CATEGORY A MBBS SEAT is obtained around 480 - 600 marks range..
Hope it helps you

Now you surely have to work harder. Now there are two answers to your question based on what kind of government college you want. If you just want a college,"any government college" 535 will be getting you into it. But if you want a good college then work for 570/80.
Good luck
Check with your domicile certificate, if not apply for it factors like birth place, father's nativity, parents working in other region for a tenure >5yrs.. Decides which state /place you belong pertaining to States quota (85%).
You can't be sure of a expected cutoff in state selection, it differs.
Set ur target, aim for that 15% all India quota. Getting above 530 will fetch you a med. seat in any govt. medical colleges across India
For open/ general category you need to have an extraordinary score of 560-570. The competition keeps increasing every year. So study hard and be prepared.
Goodluck.
U just check it carefully .
Where do u live ??
And to ur question according to last years score u need Atleast 570 .
And rest we all know that stats change every year
Since you wont be having a regional quota you will have to compete for 15% AIQ seats, and this will be quite tough.
To get a decent Medical college, i recommend atleast 500-600 marks in your NEET. However, one cannot predict how high the cutoffs may go, so be very well prepared. Study NCERT thoroughly, practice as many questions and MCQs as possible, and focus on Physics as well since most students fail to score there.
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any further queries.
Hello,
For general category, the competition is quite tough and they have to score a little bit higher than other claiming reservations.
If you have no Regional reservation too, then you have to look for All India Quota seats and talking in terms of marks you have to score 600+ for govt college in any part of India and if you are looking for Colleges in delhi, please go for a score of 650+ for a safe zone.
All the Best.
