I belong to OBC category.In the application form, I was asked to fill "Serial/ Entry/ Certificate number of category" as a mandatory field. Please explain me what this number actually refers to and also guide me the way where I can find the required details.

You have 3 options. You can either put Serial no or Entry no or Certificate No

Go to this link, select your state, you need to find your caste in the list. The first column is Entry No. You just need to enter that 2 digit no. Thats all!

Dear Priyanka, now every State has a different OBC list but CAT is a National Exam. To identify that, this procedure is important. Please use the website, http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx and click on your State. Search for your Caste in the list. You will see a number under Entry Column in the row corresponding to your Caste. You need to mention that in your Application form.

We need your State details as well. Or else, http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx in this link click on the State you belong to and then use Ctrl+F and search for your Community

there are mentioned 2 entry number one is state entry number and 2 nd one is Mandal list, which one should filled in the cat form?
