I belong to OEC in kerala. But there's always a confusion that if i belong to SC or OBC category when applying for central government exams.Can anyone help me with this.

Hi,
OEC category in Kerala is the state category for this particular state but when it is considered in the central scheme this is divided into two categories namely OEC(SC) and OEC(ST). So, during central government counseling any other process, the OEC category is grouped under Schedule tribe and schedule class categories.
