This year as the ranks have gone down in comparison to previous years ,the chance of you to get into a government medical college is low, but you should try in counseling rounds as it will give you idea about counseling process.

You can try for semi government seat and if you can afford a management seat go for it.

Or you can give one more year to yourself and work harder for next year.

In 2018, under State Quota, 518 marks secured a seat in Guru Gobind Medical College under General Category. That is 2018 data. And cut offs have gone way higher this year. And there are 900 MBBS seats available for Punjab NEET counselling. And this is across all Categories. So with a score of 519, rhe chances are minimal.

hey dear,seeing this year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 were worried about their colleges.So, with these marks you wont get a topnotch goverment mbbs college in punjab being a general candidate but you may get an average ranked govt. college for sure.
