Dear aspirant,
As you belong to the sc category and you don't have the caste certificate of your own so I would recommend you to kindly make your own certificate as soon as possible because without that you would be having trouble at the time of registration.
You cannot use your father's caste certificate at the time of registration. So, kindly go to any of the pragyan Kendra and ask the circle officer or if you know any agent you can do the same.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing great. So, no, you cannot put your father's caste certificate for the purpose of registration. You need to get your own caste certificate. Therefore, you can apply for the certificate from your local registration office. After applying to it, you may get the certificate within 2 to 3 months most probably.
Hope this helps you,
Good luck, thank you :)

Hello Aspirant,
See as of now JEE-Main 2022 applications have not been started so you still have some time to apply for SC certificate and you should apply for it right now because SC certificate only on your name would be considered for reservation benefits, if it would on any other name like that of your father or mother or any other relative hen you will not be eligible for JEE-Main reservation quota of SC category.
So if you get your certificate by the deadline of JEE-Main 2022 application then you can upload it in your application form otherwise what you can do is you can upload the self undertaking which will be released by NTA along with the information brochure of JEE-Main 2022, that undertaking will declare that you will submit the original and valid caste certificate later on at the time of admission. So using this undertaking you will get time till May at least because generally admission process is conducted in the month of June.
