EWS reservation is for those Candidates who belong to General Category and whose annual income is lesser than 8 lakhs per annum. These are the Candidates who do not avail any benefits of OBC,SC,ST. Bt if Muslims come under OBC in Karnataka, you are not eligible for EWS reservation because EWS reservation is in specific for the Economically Weaker Sections of General Category.
