Hello,

You cannot appear for the NDA 2026 exam because the NDA eligibility of minimum age requirement is 16.5 years at the time of application, and you will be only 16 years old in January 2026 .

For NDA 2026 , candidates must be born between July 2, 2007, and July 1, 2010 (tentative range) . Since your birthdate is January 16, 2010 , you will not be eligible .

Hope it helps !

Hello there,

To be eligible for the NDA 2026 exam, candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years old at the time of joining the academy.

  • If you were born on 16 January 2010 , you will be 16 years and around 3 months old in April 2026 (when the NDA 1 exam is usually held).

  • Since you will not meet the minimum age requirement of 16.5 years by the time of the exam, you will NOT be eligible for the NDA 2026 exam.

  • You will become eligible to apply for NDA starting from NDA 2 in 2026 or NDA 1 in 2027 when you meet the minimum age limit.
