I born on 24th June 1991 will I eligible for Upsc 2023
Hello,
The age limit for the UPSC Exam is 21 Years to 32 Years. So, normally the exam takes place in the second week of June. So, accordingly, you can check the eligibility for the UPSC Exam. I think by the second week of June, you will be completing 32 years, so you may not be eligible for the exam. There is a total of 6 attempts for the exam. The above statements apply only to the General category. The age limit changes with categories.
Hope your doubts are cleared. Thank you.
The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years (for the General category candidate) on 1 August of the year of examination. So essentially you need to have a age less than 32 on or before August 1, 2023. So you are not eligible if you are a General category student since you would be 32 on June,2023.
If you are from any of the reserved caste, then you are eligible. For SC/ST there is an age relaxation of 5 years. For OBC there is a relaxation of age of 3 years. Also there are other quota, to know about them, visit the link provided below:
