If you have completed your degree but have a supplementary (supply) exam pending from Mahatma Gandhi University (MG University), you may still be eligible to pursue a 5-year integrated LLB program, but certain conditions apply.

1. **Degree Completion Requirement**:

For admission into a 5-year integrated LLB program, most universities require you to have cleared all subjects and completed your previous degree. Since you have a supply, it is important to clear that exam before applying. Some institutions may allow provisional admission, but you'll be required to submit proof of degree completion within a stipulated time.

2. **Check University Guidelines**:

Different universities or law colleges may have varying eligibility criteria. Check the specific requirements of the university where you wish to apply, as they may offer conditional admission until your backlog is cleared.

3. **Plan for Supplementary Exam**:

Focus on clearing your pending subjects as soon as possible. Once you pass, you’ll have a clear path to applying for an LLB program.

In summary, while having a supplementary exam doesn't automatically disqualify you, it’s essential to clear it before or during the admission process for the LLB program to avoid complications.

hope this helps you!!

Yes, you can definitely pursue a 5-year LLB after completing a degree with supply (backlogs) from MG University.

Here are the general eligibility criteria for a 5-year LLB program:

  • Graduation: You must have completed a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. The specific requirements may vary depending on the university or law school.
  • Minimum Marks: Some universities may require a minimum percentage of marks in your graduation degree. However, having supply (backlogs) does not necessarily disqualify you.

It's important to check the specific eligibility criteria of the law schools you're interested in applying to. They may have additional requirements or processes for candidates with supply (backlogs).

Here are some things you can do:

  • Contact the law schools: Directly contact the law schools you're interested in to inquire about their specific eligibility criteria for candidates with supply (backlogs). They can provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Check the university website: Visit the website of MG University and look for the specific eligibility criteria for the 5-year LLB program. They may have information about how to handle supply (backlogs).
  • Consult with academic advisors: If you're still unsure, consult with academic advisors at MG University or the law schools you're considering. They can provide guidance and advice based on your specific situation.

Remember, having supply (backlogs) may not be a major obstacle in pursuing a 5-year LLB. Focus on completing your graduation degree and meeting the specific eligibility criteria of the law schools you're interested in.

I hope it helps !!

Hello Arya!

One can opt for 5-year LLB course following graduation, although a supplementary/ backlog is there at Mahatma Gandhi University. As the admission process would come to an end before clearing supplementary (backlog) paper, everyone who desires to join the LLB course must clear the backlog paper. Most law colleges have a criterion by which students will be admitted only if the graduation degree is acquired without pending supplies.

You may apply to institutes offering LLB programs subsequent to clearing the backlogs, through common entrance tests such as CLAT or other university-specific exams. Do keep in mind that eligibility criteria might vary with institutes and institutes might have different eligibility criteria. So, make a note of it while applying to the institution.

You can also opt for the 3-year LLB course after graduation if your plans suit better for you.

Thankyou!
