NIT Trichy is one of the top NITs so you will have to secure a good rank in Jee Mains. Considering general category, 250+ score is enough to admit in NIT Trichy. For OBC students, There is slightly less score to need like 230+ and 180–190+ score need for SC, ST students. It may be vary depending on question paper and cutoff rank. And of course, you will get some advantage for being home state quota.

Go through the below provided link where you can check previous year cutoff rank for  NIT Trichy.

Hello buddy, thanks for connecting with career 360. We hope we will solve your query in the best way .

You have very high chances to get CSE at Average NITs. You will definitely get NIT trichy but may be you won't get CSE. You may definitely get CSE at DTU which is one of the best engineering institute in India and even better than NIT trichy in CSE and will open many opportunities in your life.  You should also apply for it.

You May also get CSE at NIT trichy if the cutoff Will be less.  Wait for the final results and rank. After that check the previous year cutoff of different nits. You will definitely get idea about your admission.

Best of luck for your future buddy!

Hello

According to past year cut off the cutoff for OBC candidates were given 45 marks so in turn it will be expected to be somwhere 45-60marks

So as per your expectation you can apply for nit's . You will definitely get any NIT . While deciding for cllgs it is more dependent on rank u gained after result announcement till then look for more colleges.
