Hello Anitesh Barman.

I think you mean to say that you are not getting any college till seventh round counselling.

May be you are not getting yet because your choice selection will be not fair enough.

I suggest you to not take much stress and go for the Csab special round counselling and have a look at the possibilities. It's better option.

Ok good luck.

Hello Anitesh,

Well you can surely go for CSAB Special Round counselling. For Special Round the main requirement is that the candidate should be JEE Main qualified and should have a valid rank. Now to be JEE Main qualified one has to clear the JEE Main cutoff as per his/her category. For SC candidate the cutoff was 54.01 percentile. Now at 16K rank, you can apply for CSAB counselling. Through CSAB counselling you can get a seat in NITs,IIITs,GFTIs etc. So attend the CSAB Special Round counselling and see which colleges and branches are you getting as per your category.

You can go through this link and checkout the details regarding CSAB Special Round counselling : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/csab

Hope you get a good college. Good Luck !!!!

Hi Anitesh,

It seems you haven't been alloted an institute till the last round of the counselling. According to your SC rank your chances are less but yes you do stand a chance in CSAB but the branch may not be the desired one. It is very difficult to get a seat in good branches. Nevertheless you should go for it if you have no other options, if you have any other options like good private colleges, you can opt them too. It might be that you haven't been alloted an institute because you would have filled branches and colleges that are not your under your reach. You can try filling in choices in excess while participating in CSAB for better results.

Good Luck !!

Hello Anitesh

I don't think you can get any NIT's with this category rank as it is very less. Hence you can try other colleges in Orrisa like Silicon or OEC. You can also enquire about the colleges by directly calling the management.

If you want then you can try for Spot round but i don't think it will be fruitful.

Yea ofcourse you must try for that. Its a good opportunity so you must not skip and try hard for that. Its a really good one and do try for it. You would not even regret for that. Good luck and you'll definitely succeed. Do take all the consideration and essential requirements for that.
