Hello Aspirant,

Here are some tips for you if you are going to prepare for ugc exam.

It is advised to all the aspirants that they must keep these tips in their mind while preparing for the exam

Note down your Syllabus

The NET Exam is administered in two phases (one paper in each phase). The Paper-I consists of General Aptitude Questions and Paper-II contains questions related to the concerned subject.

Note down the complete UGC NET Syllabus of your concerned subject and review all the topics which you’ll have to cover to get good marks.

  • Don’t be screwed up with the topics out of the syllabus!
  • Start with the topic you can cover faster.
  • Mark the topics you have covered and proceed to the next one.

Refer Good Books

Purchase some good books specified by UGC that may help you to clear your basic concepts and logics as well as cover the whole syllabus. Also, utilize UGC NET online study material .

Prepare Notes

Preparing Short-Notes is the best way of practicing your syllabus in a short time and revise everything.

You can write down important things and related facts and points. Using underlining and highlighting headings will help you to make better notes. Writing notes will also help you in remembering things.

These notes will help you to quickly revise what you have learned.

Try to Teach Someone

To test your knowledge for what you’ve learned and understood, start teaching someone else. This will definitely help you in memorizing things for a long duration. You may help others in understanding difficult topics and solving tough questions.

Time Management

Developing Time Management Skills is quite beneficial if you are going to fight the UGC NET Exam (https://scoop.eduncle.com/ugc-net-exam) .

(i). How to manage time before exams?

It’s not necessary to study all the time, just make sure you fully concentrate and focus on what you are reading during your study hours.

Schedule your daily routine at the first priority and allocate separate time to every section of the syllabus to reduce confusion of what to read and what not.

Give at least 4 to 5 hours daily to your studies.

Also manage time for Daily Revision of what you have read the whole day long.

(ii). Time Management during Exams

Time management is the very first thing to do while sitting in the examination hall.

As time is limited to solve questions in UGC NET, try to attempt the section you can do very fast.

If you are facing a problem in solving any question, bookmark it!

If possible! Save some time to check all the answers.

Revision and Self Analysis

Revision is a procedure to refine what you have prepared for exams. So make it your habit to revise daily what you have learned. Start your revision early so that you can perform very well in the exam.

Read your notes for quick revision before exams.

Take help of Solved Papers and Online Mock Test Papers

Study previous years UGC NET Question Papers online and solve them to test your knowledge. You may also join online test series and mock test papers for self-assessment.

Try to solve these questions at your own, then match your answers with solved NET Exam answer keys .

Boost your Confidence Level

It’s normal to get nervous before exams but test anxiety can be decreased by thorough preparation. Knowing that you’ve done everything and you remember it can boost up your confidence level.

So above, we have summed all the necessary UGC NET Preparation Tips which you should follow during exam studies. The above-given plan will definitely help you to give your studies a proper direction.
