Hello student,
If you are confident that you will start preparing from today and will be able to crack JEE 2021 with a decent rank only then try taking a drop. But it is highly impossible to finish 2 year syllabus in less than a year.I hope you would have prepared for your state board or central board examination as they would be similar to JEE , you can think and analyze if you can cover the JEE syllabus . Since NTA conducts JEE mains twice a year, you have chances both in January and in April 2020. But my suggestion would be not taking a drop if you are not confident as it would waste 1 year of your career.Try considering good local colleges in your state. So take a wise decision about your career as your whole life depends on it.
