Hello SArah ,
I did not understand what you meant by a free seat.
If you have not given your class 10 and 12 examinations from a particular indian state or you a minimum domicile of 8 years in a particular state then you can enlistit during form fillup to avail 85 % state quota from it with a score in excess of around 500 and if you want avail an All india quota 15 % seat in any of the premier colleges across India then you must atrget 550-600 + depending on your state and college prefernces. You will need to score a minumum of 50% in each of Physics , Chemistry and Biology and be a minimum of 17 and maximum of 30 years age to be eligible for NEET UG
Hey Sarah,
First of all, there is no such thing called free seats. However, the fee of government colleges is so low that one can even consider that as a free seat.
Now, talking about marks you should score to get a free seat. See this cutoff varies every year. However, if we follow general trends over the past few years, a score of around 550 should be good to get a seat in all India quota. And, a score of around 500 should be enough to get a seat in your state via state quota. Try scoring above 550 to get a government seat which costs you less.
Good luck!
