Hello

Considering you are in India,

yeah, it is possible. You have to appear for the entrance test, Which comprises multiple choice questions from physics, chemistry & biology from class 11th & 12th. You have to qualify the exam then you can get the admission.

So one can do MBBS also not a deal because test for the admission & criteria for the admission is same for MBBS & BDS.

But you need a lot of patience. be sure you want to study for next 10 years at least to be a specialist.

That too after your B.E. Still if you want to do you can do this, Just check the age limit, it is 25 years for the government college general category.

I hope it will help you

Good luck...

Hey!

You can take admission in MBBS by preparing for NEET and other competitive exams for medical stream.

The standard eligbilty criteria is valid for you too:

  • Higher secondary (12th) or equivalent with the Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects
  • 50% marks in the qualifying exam
  • The upper age of candidates applying should not exceed 25 years on the examination date (5 years' relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Also, you might need to specify the reason for gap year between your high school completion and MBBS enrollment.

Hope it helps!

Yes you can do. But I think if you devote this time to do another degree then it'll be better for your career . Else what is the point of having two basic degrees in two different streams but with no higher degree in either.

Hi there.

As you joined engineering in 2015 then till now you must have a Btech or BE degree . So why do you have to change your stream .

If you spent so many years in this field, then why go back ? .

And yes you can go for MBBS , you must have age below 26 to be eligible.

Hope this was helpful.
