Ankur, try within start ups. You will have a decent chance in start ups. Though the pay is less, you might still get a job. Do not stop applying for whatever Government jobs you might have the eligibility at. And also create a profile on LinkedIn. You can see many relevant opportunities there. You can directly reach out to the recruiters. Also right now as the market is dull, you should try for paid internships in places like Internshala pertaining to your field. The only aim at this point in time is to not increase the gap between your Graduation and job period. So you have to try to puck as many as part time or start up opportunities that might come your way.

Your answer inspired me as I am currently preparing online for Banks PO, SEBI Grade A, and RBI Grade B exams as there syllabus are same but my parents are giving stress to me that what will you do now, you are not preparing well wasting time .....and much more. Which lead to insecurity in my mind. Even I am also preparing for Civil Services and I find it interesting as I came to know so many things by studying and also inspired to became Civil Servant always but sometime I feel that I was not able clear Bank exam how can I clear Civil Services Exam. But now I think I should get good Bank job just to be independent of my parents and also prepare for CSE. I know my parents want my future to secure but they don't have belief on me. And they always demotivates me in everything. Not even my parents but my relatives and neighbours also make fun of me. Sometimes feels very tensed that will I get job in future. Please tell me Is my thinking right or wrong should I continue my prepartion?

Ankur, Indian Parents on an average are at 25 years when they have their children. So wen you were 1 day old, your parents and relatives were approximately 25 years already. That is 2 and half decades of life and experience. So when compared with our generation and our parent's generation, there is a wide gap of experience and knowledge. Hence the differences in opinions. Now when a NextGen is on a laptop or a Mobile, the chances that any parent would think that their kid is studying are less than 10%. So the misinterpretations. Is there something that you can do about it? May be Yes and may be No. You can tell them your plans and show them your preparation or you can start making notes in front of them so that they realise that you are serious at what you are doing. Any Candidate who is preparing for Government jobs should have a Plan B because the ratio of no.of jobs available to no,of Candidates applying is scary enough. Check if any of your local Colleges might need a Tutor in their Engineering Colleges. Or check online if you can be a tutor for any website.  Feeling worried is a right emotion and that is when you actually start looking for options to succeed and survive. You are on the right track and so do not fret. Unless you want to give up, you shouldn't be even listening to what the world says. We live in a world that presumes our life by a single tweet or a sentence. That is judgmental. As long as you know you are on the right path, you should not worry about "log kya kahenge". Go to LinkedIn and create a profile and search for options. Try in your own locality for opportunities.
