Hello Karthika,

In TNEA counselling 2019, 85% of the total seats are alloted for state quota and the remaining 15% seats are for All India quota. If you have pursued your 8th,9th, 10th,11th and 12th from Tamilnadu there is no need for nativity certificate.Else you have to produce nativity certicate to become eligible to attend TNEA counselling under state quota. If you belong to other state then you will come under All India Quota. There are 500+ Engg colleges in Tamilnadu so according to your cutoff you may get a college with good standard.Choose your college wisely and select the branch that you are interested in.
