I completed my 12th through science stream and I want to apply for BA programme in DU. Can I take both English core and Hindi Core in calculation of best four marks for ba programme? Does their any deduction of marks ??

According to the rules for calculation of best of four marks to get admission in DU:
- Candidate need to select one language (core/elective subject)
- One subject in which you are seeking admission. For example: if you are seeking admission in BA Hindi then you need to include Hindi as best of four marks or so.
- If you do not include previously mentioned subject then 2.5% deduction of total marks will be imposed to you.
- Other two subjects can be selected from LIST A . List A includes hindi, mathematics, geography, computer science, arabic, commerce, french, physical education, punjabi, statistics, history, bengali, music, physics, sanskrit, urdu, botany, economics, geology, home science, political science, persian, sociology, zoology, chemistry, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Philosophy, Psychology and Legal Studies.
