Gap certificate means to show any job or internship or any kind of course you joined or you made any major projects during your gap years . During the time of your personal interview, they may ask what have you done in 2 years , so if you have done any of these then it is ok , if not then it will depend upon that interviewer and that Mba college whether to mark it as a negative point or not. If they don't ask then it is well and good. You can say that i was preparing for entrance exams or give it a reason that i was running a business etc : , just prepare for the reason to answer.

Thank you sir. . . So it is not necessary to have a gap certificate . . And not necessary to show during counselling ?
It all depends upon the interviewer whether he or she will ask about what have you done in your gap years,
see understand this admissions in Mba are on the basis of point system for example : work experience for 1 year is counted as 1 point and above 1 year it is counted as 2 points , so if you have a work experience lets say for 2 years so you will get 2 points and if you don't have any experience then it will counted as 0 point , as you may heard people say you should have some work experience before going into MBA college , so if you don't have work experience it is ok . Admission is done on the evaluation basis , so in conclusion if you show any work experience or major projects done during that 2 years or any course you had joined and earned certification then it is good , if not then it is ok . Many freshers also apply for mba .
