I completed my b.tech in mech branch, then what I do to good future??
Just I want to add some points and these are unlike Shefali's ones.
So, I'm also from Mechanical engineering and now I'm settled in IT side. If you really want to enter into IT side you need to be good at coding in any one of the important language like c, java, python etc..,
And the most important thing is if you interested in designing side they are so many institutes given training on catia, proe, solid works etc.., and they'll show some jobs too.
And if you're sound enough to crack gate then you can get almost every government job with little effort.
If you need any guidance, message here.
All the best.
After, completing your B.Tech in mechanical engineering you can go for government jobs. Government Jobs include the PSU Jobs, ISRO, BARC, ESE , Railways or state PSC specific to their engineering discipline.
You can go for higher studies like M.Tech or if you have interest in management then you can go for MBA programme.
You can go for armed force jobs like Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy.
To get into the Government firms you have to pass certain exams conducted by PSC, SSC and also UPSC.
Good Luck!!
