yes ,you can give the test.there is no such problem.NEST 2020 Application Form has been started from 8th January 2020 . The exam will be organized by the NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE-CEBS, Mumbai jointly. This is a national entrance screening test conducted every year to offer admission into 5 years of Integrated M.Sc program in Biological, Mathematical, Chemical and Physical sciences. Admission will be offered to the candidates who will qualify the entrance exam successfully.you only need to get 55-60%in your board examination.

Yes , you are eligible for NEST 2020 even if you have passed your 12th in 2018
This is because to be eligible for NEST 2020 examination, one needs to pass his/her 12 th level exam in Science stream or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University in the year 2018 and 2019 or should be appearing for it in the year 2020.
Also to be eligible for NEST 2020 ,you need to
- have secured minimum aggregate of 60% marks if you belong to general or OBC category, while for ST/SC candidates, minimum aggregate marks is 55%.
- must have born on or after August 1, 2000, while for ST/SC candidates, there's age relaxation of 5 years.
