If you want to make a career in CA you should choose commerce as a option in Bachelor Degree.
But Msc doesn't give u basic concept about Accounting Subject.
CA Courses :-
takes the 5 years to complete the CA course. By the year 2006, the ICAI has launched the three level of thiscourse. The CPT is the entry-level foundation course involves the quantitative aptitude test, general economics, mercantile laws and accounting. The IPCC has two groups.

Yes you are eligible for CA CPt however as per eligibility clause candidates having post graduation degree from other than connerce stream and minimum 60%aggregate marks from recognised University need not appear for Ca CPT exam and thet are exemptes.
Hence they can apply for CA IPCC exam directly.
