I completed my XIIth last year can I appear in kvpy this year??

You can apply for KVPY 2018 (SB Stream) only if you fulfill the criteria below:

-If you're studying in first year of Bachelor degree in Basic Sciences only.

-You must have scored at least 60% in class 12th while it is 50% for reserved categories SC/ST/PwD.

-Also, you should secure minimum 60% (50% for reserved categories) in first year exam of the undergraduate programme

The last date to register and apply for KVPY 2018 is August 31. You can apply for it by clicking here .

You are eligible to apply for KVPY 2018 SB stream, Passing class 12th or pursuing Graduation first year can apply for this stream. As per the eligibility you must have scored at least 60% in 12th class while it is 50% for reserved categories SC/ST/PwD.

IISc has released the KVPY application form on July 11, 2018 in online mode. Students can register and fill the KVPY 2018 application form of all the streams - SA, SX and SB. The last date to fill the application form is August 31, 2018.

The eligibility criteria state that one must be in class XI or Class X11 or must be enrolled in the first year of any undergraduate course in either Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology.
