i contacted my regional cbse office ...they said old marksheet is valid if you fail in improvement exams ...but experts on this website and people on internet are saying otherwise ... I'm very stressed because i have cleared my mains and appearing advanve ... regular student batch 2020-21 ...

Hi aspirant,
As the name suggests, improvement examination was conducted by CBSE for the candidates who were not satisfied with the marks alloted to them based upon internal assessment. If he/she scores a lower marks or has failed in the improvement examination the original scores will be retained and there will be no changes made to the marksheet.
Moreover no one can give you a clearer info than the officers at the regional office of CBSE.
