I decided to sit on engineering entrance exam this year to get btech in CSE. but now I feel my preparation is not good and I won't qualify for engineering. I still wanna study about computer. can you tell me what else course I should do to make good career in computer science?

Don't get demotivated. For now you go on with the studies, give your engineering exam a shot. It's better to at least try for something rather than just sitting and thinking. In the worst case, even if you don't get selected, remember one thing that you always have a second chance to get everything at it's place.

Your second chance would be in the form of other degrees in computer related field, like BSc in Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Applications,etc.
