i did 12 from PCB stream. i applied for SHUATS Praygraj for ug course. what is pattern of entrance exam? is it difficult? from which subjects & upto which level question will asked in entrance exams?

The SHUATS exam is conducted for two hours UG. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The SHUAT Question Paper will be for a total of 160 marks.
The exam pattern of SHUATS UG will be:
UG-1:
Compulsory section: General Aptitude Test
Optional subjects: Candidates from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Home Science- PCM/PCB/PCMB/HBC Subject Group will need to attend the UG-1 Test Booklet.

Choice: You will need to attend any 3 optional subjects
The questions that will be asked in the SHUATS entrance examination will be from the 11th and 12th grades for UG courses. The SHUATS Entrance Exam is quite challenging, and you will need to prepare very well to score good. If your preparation is proper, then only you will be able to crack the examination.
Mathematics syllabus:
Differential equation, statistics and probability, permutation and combination, Integral Calculus, Mathematical Induction, Complex Numbers, Sets, Relations and Functions, Mathematical Reasoning, Three-dimensional Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Binomial Theorem and Its Simple Applications, Matrix and Determinants, Limit, Continuity and Differentiability, Co-Ordinate Geometry, Sequence & Series, Vector Algebra.
Chemistry syllabus:
States of Matter Gases and Liquid, Classification of Elements and Periodicity In Properties, s – Block Elements, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Principles Related To Practical Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Equilibrium, Purification and Characterization Of Organic Compounds, p-block elements, Chemistry in everyday life, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, Organic Compounds Containing Halogens, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, Co-Ordination Compounds, Electrochemistry, Environmental chemistry, Hydrocarbons, d and f-block elements, Polymers, Atomic structure, Some Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Solutions, Hydrogen, Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements, Some Basic Concepts in Chemistry.
Physics syllabus:
Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Magnetic Effects of Current And Magnetism, Universal Law of Gravitation and everything about Gravitation, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Electrostatics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Electronic devices, Heat and Thermodynamics, Current Electricity, Optics, Waves, Work, Energy, Power, Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Oscillations, Electromagnetic Waves, Communication systems, Atoms and Nuclei, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids.
Logical Reasoning syllabus:
Age, Data Interpretation, Blood Relations, and Directions.
