I did BE in E&TC , now I want to m.tech in chemical engineering ....so shall I go through gate examination
Yes, you can study M. Tech in Chemical Engineering though you have studied B. Tech in E & C T. But both the branches are different from each other if you can manage it then you can go ahead.
You can appear for GATE exam in Chemical Engineering to get M.Tech set in Chemical Engineering. There will be lot of options for you if you get good GATE rank and can get into Reputed Institutions. You can also get Government jobs as well based on GATE rank.
