The choice of subject for your post graduation should depend upon your interest, scope and career options. These different factors should be taken into consideration before finally deciding the subject.
As per your query, you did your graduation in zoology, if you want to go for higher studies you can either choose microbiology or zoology itself. You can get into professional teaching field.
Biotechnology has a limited scope in India and is purely a research based subject. If you want to get into research based field, you can choose biotechnology.
