I did my 12th from CBSE with 86 percent in 2014. But I was not able to get admission in NITs. So i did 12th from NIOS in 2016. Then, I took admission in NIT using NIOS certificate. Now, I want to use my CBSE 12th marksheet in Govt job. Is it legal to do so?

I hope you are doing good. I would like to inform you that if you have passed 12th in 2014 and want to show this marksheet in your application then time period btw 2014 to 2016 ( at the year which you have taken the admissioni nit) will be the education gap ). For covering this you have to make gap certificate by justfying the reason of gap so that at the time of verification when they asked for your passing certificate then you can justify your year gap with gap ceritificate.

Hi Aditya. Thanks for the info you provided. My main doubt is "whether it is legal to use my old CBSE marksheet, when i had already used my NIOS marksheet for admission in NIT." If document verification will occur, will myB.Tech. marksheet be valid if I show them my CBSe marksheet for 12th class.( I have this doubt because I used NIOS marksheet for admission in B.Tech.)
