I did my industrial training in 8th semester of my engineering. Can I apply for gate examination. Can I get selected for PSU'S ??
It does not matter when you did your training. Its good atleast you did it successfully. PSUs consider GATE scores only and your learning experience in UG years. You can ofcourse apply for GATE exam and try to get a job in one of the best PSUs of the nation.

GATE is a National level Common Entrance test to get admission in various Engineering Colleges to do Masters in Engineering. Through a better GATE Score one can also get a job in PSU. It's okay with your Industrial training. Even when you are in final year of Btech you can still Write the GATE exam. If you get the better GATE Score you will get the job in PSU's.
Yes you can apply for the gate examinations but choose your branch accordingly.
Also you can get selected for PSUs with a better gate score.
