i did one mistake while filling up the application it was automatically taken female in gender so im not able to edit the application so anyone please tell me weather its going to cause in appointment or not?

It might in later stages appear to be a problem. Gender information is important as many Colleges and Universities provide some sort of relaxation for girls. Some provide quota for girls. So, gender information poses to be an important detail. You should see whether the application form which you are talking about provides the window correction option or not. If it does, you may correct the information provided that it provides the option to correct the gender option.
