NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
You haven't mentioned your category, if you belong to UR your PCB aggregate inclusive of theory and practical needs to be 50% , in your case 158 marks of PCB subjects make 52.6%, hence you're eligible to appear for NEET, in case of other categories such as SC/ST/OBC they require PCB aggregate of 40%, for PWD candidates it's 45%, apart from this you need to be 17 years old by 31st December of the appear year, passed physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and english as core subjects, as of now there is no upper age limit, hence no restrictions as well in number of attempts.
Hello!
you need 50% in board to appear for NEET. There are different requirements for marks depending on the category you belong to. English marks doesn't matter for NEET. All that matters is your PCB and if you are appearing for JEE then mathematics marks is required. English marks are counted in your total marks. For admission in medical colleges board marks are not given top priority. All that matters is your NEET marks. You need to have certain cutoff for each and every category. On satisfying the cutoff you can take a medical seat.
