Hello,

If you have a good score in JEE Mains, There are plenty of options other than IITs;

BITS Pilani is, in fact, better than NITs and new IITs as per expert opinions.

State level engineering colleges :-These exams are easier than JEE Mains or Advanced. If you have prepared well for JEE, must be able to crack these tests.

VIT, SRM,Manipal

IISER - Admission is through K.V.P.Y AND OTHER schemes. See if you are eligible by any scheme.

Degree in top colleges:-degrees from top colleges like St.Stephens,  Loyola etc are very prestigious.

NEST:- exam for science degrees,

Private engineering colleges:-There are many private engineering colleges in India. Lookout for good ones and join them, if you are too adamant on engineering degree.

Hope this helps, All the best!
