EWS certificate is a type of income document. So, you can use it as proof of family income.
It is a government scholarship proposal carried out by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Under this scholarship proposal, thousands of scholarships are paid each year to excellent girl candidates seeking technical schooling.
Payment of INR 50,000 per year is given to the qualifiers every year.
- Applicants should be accepted to the first year or second year (through lateral entry only) of the technical diploma/degree scheme of an AICTE accepted college/institute in the recent educational year.
- Both girls per family are desirable to refer to the scholarship.
- The yearly family earnings of the candidate must not be surplus to INR 8 lakh in the foregoing economic year.
Scholarship forms can be filled through the NSP Portal. Other documents which are required are
- Mark Sheet of SSC and HSC exams.
- Enrollment document issued by Directorate of Technical Education for admission in the Diploma/Degree course.
- Certificate issued by the Head of the Institute.
- Tuition fee certificate.
- Bank Pass Book photocopy of the student specifying Account number, IFSC code, and Photograph
- Caste Certificate if necessary.
- AADHAR Card
- Statement by parents signed acknowledging that the evidence furnished by their offspring is valid and cancellation of the scheme will be there if data is established untrue at any stage.
The aspirants are allocated this scheme simply on the worth in the prior assessment of the respective technical course.
