Hello Dear ,
If you do not have the category certificate, then at the time of counseling you will be treated as general category according to the registration details and you will not be able to avail the reservation category. So if you want to take the benefits of reserved category then there is no option without attaching the caste certificate at the time of registration, you have to upload the caste certificate. If you think that I will submit the certificate at the time of counselling, then there is no point. Your all details will be taken from your registration details. At the time of counseling, allocate the seat on the basis of rank which obviously will be crl rank (when you do not upload the certificate at the time of registration.)
Hope this will help you....!!
Greetings!
JEE main allocates every one two ranks namely common rank list and category rank. If you belong to general category, then only crl will be visible at your scorecard. But if you belong to another category, you have extra benefit of category rank. At the time of registration, you are required to upload only scanned photograph, signature and class10th marksheet. But at the time of counselling like josaa or JAC counselling you will be required to submit the sc category certificate positively to avail the benefits of reservation otherwise authorities will consider you crl rank.
