There are two types of caste certificate, one is central caste certificate and the other is respective state's caste certificate. Usually for admissions to central universities and other national level counselling central caste certificate is required to avail reservations.

However for state level counselling, usually caste certificate of that particular state is required. So it depends on exam or counselling you are interested in, if its Telangana state counselling, you will have to produce Telangana caste certificate.

It is better to contact the official authorities to get a clarity on which certificate you require.
