Hello Ani

If you are interested in coding and software than you should join computer science.

And it doesn't matter that how much you already know because you can learn anything in any stage of life. You can learn computer in coming days because it is the need of the time and you have to learn it.

And one thing choose your branch wisely ; find out your interest because it will be waste of time energy and other things if you choose wrong branch because you will be not able to give your 100 percent to it .

And if you are choosing cs only for money than it will be not so that you can earn only in cs.

Apply to Amrita University B.Tech 2025

You can earn much more than cs in any other branch all depends upon you.

Good luck.

Hello dear,

It doesn't becmandatory that if you have knowledge about computer science then you should choose the branch  but if you want to make career in computer science field then you should blindly choose this branch. CSE has Good scope all over the world, the topics covered in this course will enthralled you from inside and you will start enjoying this course and will definitely Excel in this course. But don't take this branch forcefully.

Hope you understands.

For computer science enginnering having pre - knowledge of programming and computer could prove to be helpful but it's not mandatory. I'am also a student of computer science and from my experience I could tell you that what matters the most is how fast you adapt the knowledge you get in the college. And still if you have a doubt then the first year of engineering is a common year for all streams in which you'll be studying basic programming too so if you observe lack of interest in the subject you could easily change your stream in second year.

Hope it helps

Thank you.
