Yes you can but there is a limitation for that, according to JEE rules, you are only eligible for 2 attempts in JEE Advance. If you have not attempted JEE Mains in 2020 and 2021 during your 12th , then you are eligible for JEE Advance 2022. And for JEE Mains you get 3 attempts ,So if you are not eligible for Advance 2022 but then also you are eligible for Mains 2022 and get various top NIT's with your work hard.

No you are not eligible for JEE-Advance 2022 because attempts are to be counted from the year when you appeared for the first time  for class 12th so you were only eligible for JEE-Advance 2021 but you can appear for JEE-Main 2022 because for JEE-main it the number of attempts are 3 so you are eligible for this last attempt.

There are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.

3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.

So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.
