Priyanshi, So to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. So even if you have failed in your 12th in 2020, if you reappear for those subjects in 2021 and pass them by securing the required aggregate, then you are eligible for NEET. And if you qualify in NEET and secure a seat in Counselling, you can certainly take admission in MBBS.

Thank you so much for the information. I have supplimentrory exam in 3 days for the subjects in which i got failed. But i am not sure if i can score 50%. So would it be better if i don't give this examination and reapper for exam in 2021. I am worried that if i might not get 50% then i have to give up on medical career. Stressed out. And if i give examination 2021, will the paper style get changed according to 2021 board? Or would it be the same for the students who are reappering for the examination? I am confused.

We are not sure of the change in exam pattern for the Boards yet. There is no harm in giving your supplementary exams in 3 days. Because if you do not write the exam, you will never know whether you can score 50% or not. 2021 is almost 4 months away and you have to wait for few more months to appear for the exam. Instead you can write the exam and complete it this year and concentrate on NEET the whole of next year. Think about it.
