I failed in additional subject (physics) in class 12 but overall passed in class 12. so if I can crack CAT exam, then I get admission in IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta and rest of the IIMs? No, I dont believe it will be an issue since you have an Overall Pass Certificate and a Respective Percetage. However,assuming you are from General Category having an average Academic record you should Work hard for CAT and target securing above 99-100 and above to have fair chances for IIMs as well as Other Top Management Institutes.
