I failed in maths in ISC but got a pass certificate with 62percent will i get admission in engineering college in IT course?

Hi Sameer

Thanks for asking your query,but if you were a pure science student then maths would be your compulsory subject then how did you get pass certificate, and for studying in any engineering college you should clear all your 12 subjects like pcm then you would be given admission

Actually, most of the colleges check the PCM marks. But yes, there are several colleges where marks of board exam is not mandatory. You can try there ... I can suggest you few colleges like

  • University of Engineering and Management
  • SRM (Not through Counselling)
  • Siliguri Institute of Technology
But it'll be a good choice if you don't choose engineering. Because starting from your first year, you've to clear 4 maths papers among which Mathematics II and Mathematics III are really tough. Choice is yours obviously. Take decisions wisely.
