Every foreign nation has its own criteria to select students for MBBS.

Previously, Some universities abroad accept international students without any qualifying exams, based on their marks obtained in higher secondary education (10+2). But 2018 onward, all countries are accepting candidates based solely on whether they have qualified NEET or not.

There is an exception for the year 2020 because of the pandemic. According to the MCI, you can take admission in any medical institution abroad regardless of whether you have qualified NEET this year or not. But you will have to qualify NEET in 2021.
