Hello,
If you have filled in your annual income wrongly as 6 lakh in the JEE Main 2025 form but your actual income is 42,000 according to your income certificate that is under OBC-NCL, then you must know the following:
Counseling and Physical Verification:
- While counseling and at the time of admission in college, physical verification of documents is done.
- In your case, since your income certificate shows 42,000, you will still be eligible for the OBC-NCL category.
Correction Option:
- If NTA opens a correction window, update your annual income to avoid confusion.
Disqualifica tion:
- You will not be disqualified if your documents (income and caste certificates) are valid and match government records.
Scholarship Eligibility:
- With an annual income of 42,000, you can apply for scholarships like TFWS (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme) or state/national-level scholarships available for low-income OBC-NCL students.
Ensure all your documents are valid and up-to-date for smooth verification.
