i filled my category as gen- ews in my first attempt by mistake in jee main 2019. but now in jee 2020 it is only showing gen category help

National Testing Agency provides the facility of JEE Main form Correction for all the successfully registered candidates of both January and April sessions. It is a one-time facility for making corrections. However, candidates can’t make changes in their preference of Exam Centers.

• Candidates have to submit only one JEE Main Application Form , NTA may cancel the candidature of students filing multiple applications.
• Candidates may have to pay an additional fee depending on the corrections made in the application form of JEE Main 2020 .
• Candidates who have paid the application fee before deadline are eligible for application form correction. The application form status should be positive/successful to be considered for form correction.
• Changes will be updated immediately if an additional fee is not required.
• JEE Main correction in the category section is also possible in the form correction.
• In case, additional fee payment is required depending on the changes made in the form, the final updates will be reflected after the payment.
• The additional amount (if applicable) has to be paid either by Credit/Debit/SBI Buddy/Paytm or through e-Challan of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC Bank.
