You cannot directly edit your JEE Main application form to include B. Arch once the deadline has passed. Still, you may be able to take both B. Tech and B. Arch exams. Here are a few things you can do: Option 1: Look for Correction Window: Each year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) provides a limited period of application correction window from the online submission deadline. Track the official JEE Main portal at https://www.nta.ac.in/ for a correction window announcement. When the correction window is announced, edit your application and include B.Arch during that specified period. Option 2: Attend for B.Tech Only and Seek B.Arch Much Later: You can still attempt the B.Tech exam that you may have applied for, in case no correction window is available. Depending upon your marks and career goals, you can look at B.Arch afterwards. Some specific universities and institutes conduct entrance tests exclusively for B.Arch after JEE Main. You can search for those also. NTA has published the JEE Main 2025 form correction date online. The authority will open JEE Main form correction window for session 1 on 26 November 2024. Registered applicants will get a chance to edit the details presented in the JEE Main application form up to 27 Nov 2024 (by 11:50 PM). Some more resources might help; Official JEE Main Website: https://www.nta.ac.in/ List of Universities with Separate B.Arch Entrance Exams: You can find information on the websites of various universities or architecture institutes offering B.Arch programs. Always be in touch with the website, as correction windows are usually available at times. https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-2025#:~:text=NTA%20has%20announced%20the%20JEE,to%2011%3A50%20PM).
Hi Simran
You can't make changes to your JEE application form directly in the admit card . However , the correction for selecting both B.Tech and B.Arch can be made during the application correction window before the exam .
This window allows you to modify details like the choice of paper or courses .
If you choose both B.Tech and B.Arch but later decide not to give one of the exams , you can simply opt out of one paper on the day of the exam . The JEE Main exam has two papers : Paper 1 for B.Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch .
You would only appear for the paper you wish to take . Make sure to carefully check the instructions in your admit card and during the exam day for any specific procedures related to this .
