I follow how to Prepare for DATA INTERPRETATION by arun sharma but i don't understand??what to do for this plz help me
Hi Ritesh,
If you have never solved DI or LR type questions before, then you probably need a mentor for guidance and to answer any doubts that you might have. You can achieve this by either
- Enrolling for a course at a coaching centre (eg. T.I.M.E, Career Launcher, IMS)
- Involving yourself in group studies with fellow aspirants.
From hat I can understand, you are studying by yourself without coaching, which is great. Try to get some video tutorials on DI and LR if possible from online sources like YouTube. You can also try Handakafunda or 2iim material. Hopefully the videos will aid you better in understanding all about DILR. If you are unable to grasp the concepts in Arun Sharma by yourself, try to take mocks and analyse where you are going wrong. As a last resort, which would probably be the only option, opt for coaching. Goodluck!!
Hi Ritesh.
- For DILR, practice is the key. The more questions you'll solve, the better you'll get at it. DILR is vast. So, the best you can do is make yourself comfortable with as many types of questions as possible.
- Usually there are a couple of easy questions in every set. You just need to train yourself to find those questions quickly, because DILR is all about solving the right questions (by right, I mean questions which are easier to solve and not very time taking either).
- Mocks will help you a lot in this. Take up an online mock test pack and solve a sectional test everyday. This will help you strategise and optimise your limited time.
All the best!
